Spruce Plywood

Lightweight and waterproof spruce plywood from Finland. Durable, stable, and moisture-resistant – excellent for construction, roofing, and technical use.

Description and Properties

Spruce plywood is a high-quality wood-based composite product, manufactured in Finland by one of the leading European producers. It consists of veneers with a thickness of 2-3.2 mm, bonded in a cross-laminated arrangement, which ensures optimal mechanical properties of the material in all directions. Its low specific weight makes it an ideal material wherever the weight of the components used is of key importance.

Application

Waterproof spruce plywood, thanks to its low weight and enhanced moisture resistance (provided by phenolic adhesive), is a material with wide application in construction and transport. It is frequently used for building structural roof elements and as wall sheathing in prefabricated houses. Furthermore, due to its strength and low mass, it is ideal for van and truck bodywork (e.g., as floors and walls) and for manufacturing components for yachts and caravans (RVs).
