Sound Dampening Plywood

Birch plywood with a rubber sound-insulating core (2.5–3.5mm) for acoustic isolation and vibration damping. Ideal for technical and transport applications.

Description and Properties

Birch plywood with a sound-dampening insert (a special, rubber dampening layer) is a high-quality wood-based composite, ideal for dampening vibrations and sounds. The dampening insert has a thickness of 2.5–3.5 mm. The unique construction, where the rubber layer is symmetrically placed in the center, provides effective acoustic insulation and dampening of vibrations transmitted from the structure.

Application

This plywood is mainly used for vehicle bodywork (reducing engine noise and rolling friction) and for machine and construction components where it is necessary to lower the sound intensity. Availability in raw or film-faced versions allows it to be adapted to various operating conditions.

Consists of birch veneers and a rubber sound-dampening insert, which is designed to suppress vibrations and sounds.
