Birch Shuttering Plywood

Strong and waterproof film-faced birch plywood for wall, slab, and foundation formwork. Reusable, resistant to moisture and damage.

Description and Properties

Birch shuttering plywood is a durable composite panel intended for demanding construction applications and the production of concrete prefabricates. It achieves high durability thanks to double-sided phenolic film overlay, which creates a waterproof and smooth surface, effectively protecting the plywood against moisture, the growth of fungi, and increasing abrasion resistance. Its cross-laminated structure made of birch veneers ensures high static and dynamic bending and tensile strength. Due to these parameters, film-faced plywood is the ideal choice for wall, foundation, and ceiling formwork. Additionally, the edges, which are standardly protected with waterproof acrylic paint, minimize moisture penetration, maximizing the number of possible uses.

Application

Birch shuttering plywood is a key, durable construction material, essential in the production of formwork systems for pouring walls, ceilings, and foundations, ensuring a smooth surface for concrete and prefabricates. Thanks to the waterproof phenolic film and high bending strength, it is ideally suited for heavy and civil engineering construction, guaranteeing durability and multiple reuses. Additionally, its moisture resistance is utilized in the shipbuilding and boatbuilding industries, as well as in the heavy transport sector for floor and bodywork components.
